Cube Mosaic

A photo turned into a mosaic that looks built from dozens of 3×3 puzzle cubes: tiles in the 6 cube colours on a base in the cube's body colour, with a frame. The size is counted in cubes.

The photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded. Faces and bold logos work best; more cubes give more detail.

3 Size (number of cubes)

2–40 cubes per side. 1 cube = 3 × 3 tiles = 3 × 3 cm (5 × 5 cubes = 15 × 15 tiles, 15 cm + frame). The base is split into pieces of at most 7 × 7 cubes that lock with jigsaw joints.

The colour between the tiles, like the cube's plastic body.

Deeper = side walls behind the frame, so from the side it looks like real cubes; it stays hollow inside.

7 Tiles per colour

The 6 cube colours. Click a colour box to make it the brush, then click a tile in the 3D preview. Ticked = the colour is used when processing the photo.
